Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
RCIA is the means by which adults wishing to join the Catholic faith or complete their sacraments in the Catholic faith may do so. Classes are on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and meet in the gathering space connected to the church. Most classes are taught by Fr. Jim. He uses the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the bible for additional reading and to supplement his lectures.
This year we expect to begin on Monday, September 21, 2020 and run through March 29, 2021. Easter Vigil is April 3, 2021 when new members will be received into the Catholic Church. Additionally those needing to complete their sacraments of initiation will do so at the Easter Vigil.
The class is open to all adults, meetings are casual and are not dependent on the prior session. You are welcome any week as your schedule allows.
