First Communion-The Beginning of a Lifetime of Receiving Jesus

First Eucharist generally occurs in the 2nd grade or older at St. Mary Parish.  We require two years of religious education (through school or Catechism) to receive a sacrament. Preparation for both First Communion and First Reconciliation is done during the same year with first reconciliation generally occurring in December and First Communion for 2023 is tentatively May 6th at 4:30 p.m.  All information necessary for receiving these sacraments is contained in the religious education section.
