Confirmation
Confirmation at St. Mary Parish generally occurs in the Spring of a child's 8th grade year. Children should be receiving regular religious education instruction either through a Catholic School or Religious Education program to insure they are ready to receive the sacrament of confirmation. There is a minimum two year requirement to receive confirmation at St. Mary. Parents, students, and sponsors are expected to attend and participate in the required programs and activities held prior to the reception of confirmation.
If you or your child have been baptized, received
reconciliation and communion but have not been confirmed please contact the parish office at 734.379.9248 to join the appropriate class to complete your initiation into the Catholic faith.
